We’re grateful to have been involved in many different projects since we launched in 2017 as Mallee Rising.

Here is a glimpse into some of the projects we have contributed to - some paid and some pro bono - to help businesses, entrepreneurs and communities grow in regional Australia.

Unmani Music

Unmani and her family live on a farm roughly 30 minutes outside of Horsham in Victoria’s Wimmera region, half way between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Despite being located three hours apart we used online collaboration tools to launch a stunning new website design and provide website and social media training and SEO coaching online without either of us needing to travel.

Apostle Whey Cheese

Apostle Whey Cheese is a family-owned, single-origin dairy farm located along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road 15 minutes from the 12 Apostles. Regional Rising delivered a new website design for Julian and Dianne using the Squarespace platform to replace an aging WordPress website.

We also film and publish a monthly farm journal to educate customers about dairy farming and manage social media across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn for the business.

Northern Shoe Store

Northern Shoe Store is the oldest retail family business in Swan Hill, North West Victoria. Established in 1930 by Harry Jennings it has served Swan Hill and district for over nine decades and is now run by third generation owner/operator Terry Jennings who took over from his father Barry.

Regional Rising was approached by Terry in 2018 to build a new, modern-looking website with online sales capability to replace a static website with an aging look and feel.
