Apostle Whey Cheese is a family-owned, single-origin dairy farm located along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road 15 minutes from the 12 Apostles.

They’re quite unique because they produce milk AND cheese on the same farm, using milk from their own cows, AND they’re open to the public! It’s farmgate café is open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

Regional Rising began working with Julian and Dianne Benson at Apostle Whey Cheese in 2023.

The brief was to “give them a hand with their marketing” and to help them tell their story.

Ongoing deliverables include but are not limited to:

  • A new website design and development on the Squarespace platform to replace an aging site on WordPress. This included copywriting, videography, SEO, website development - everything.

  • Re-establish their brand presence on social media by refreshing the existing Facebook and Instagram profiles and launching their brand on YouTube and LinkedIn.

  • Videography including the filming of a monthly “farm journal” video series to pull the curtain back on life on a single origin dairy farm and show consumers the different priorities and tasks for dairy farmers month-to-month, season to season.

  • New growth and product development including the launch of farm tours and initiatives to increase customer reviews and grow their network of stockists.

  • A photo gallery and descriptions of their milk and cheese range.

  • Strong promotion of their biggest drawcards for visitors - the $1 cheese tastings, their gelato and cafĂ© as well as their farm tours.

  • A glimpse of their many 5-star reviews on Google.

  • A showcase of their farm life videos.
